The Diversity Forum Names the 2010 Diversity & Inclusion Award Winners

CHARLOTTE, NC, October 22, 2010 The Diversity Forum held an event on Wednesday, October 13, at the Marriott SouthPark (2200 Rexford Road) titled “Workforce/Workplace: The Benefits and Challenges of Diversity and Inclusion”. Debra Plousha Moore (Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Carolinas HealthCare System) was the keynote speaker for this event. This event was also approved by the HR Certification Institute for 2.00 general credits. Following Debra’s inspirational speech two TDF board members, John Cole (Partner Ogletree Deakins) and Chiquitha Llyod, (M/W/SBE Administrator, CMS) announced the 2010 Diversity and Inclusion Awards. The Trailblazer (company) and the Champion (individual) awards recognize those who have shown outstanding leadership in the community.

The 2010 winners are:
    Trailblazer Award – Lance, Inc.
    Champion Award – Nicole Dean (Vice President Corporate HR & Chief Diversity Officer at Belk)
