Robert Fish Helps EO Chapter Achieve Rock Star Status

May 16, 2008 Robert Fish, CFO of Integra Staffing & President of Bankston Partners, has led the local Charlotte chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) to Rock Star status within the organization. The Charlotte chapter and Robert, the Chapter President, were recently honored at an international conference this past week in San Francisco. Rock Star status was only granted to 19 of the 108 global chapters of EO. Fish received the honor and the Rock Star guitar on behalf of the Chapter from EO’s International Board of Directors.

“Entrepreneurs play a key role in the Charlotte region as they employ well over 50% of the population.” Fish says. “This status aids the Charlotte chapter by providing resources to further expand membership and through increased membership we can help entrepreneurs to continue to grow and make a substantial impact on the local community.”

To achieve Rock Star status the chapter had to complete 36 out of 36 requirements including: the Chapter must have more than 25 members, the Chapter must have a 10% growth rate and the Chapter must hold at least 8 learning events for members per year.

The Charlotte Chapter of EO is comprised of 53 members who represent $339 Million worth of sales in the Charlotte region. They showed a member increase in 2007 of 43%. The members of EO are from such diverse industries as Architecture/Design, Communication Services, Construction Services, Employment, Hospitality Services, Landscape/ Florists and Manufacturing and have a minimum of $1 Million in revenue.

The chapter has also recently started an Accelerator program that through a series of quarterly, high-impact learning and networking events, gives participants the tools, knowledge, and skills to grow their business to more than $1 million (US) in annual revenue. Participants must apply to the program and meet eligibility requirements including gross yearly revenues of at least $250,000.
