Entrepreneurs’ Organization’s Accelerator Group Holds New Member Interest Reception At Blue

Jul 22, 2008

The local Charlotte chapter of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) held a new member interest reception at Blue restaurant in uptown Charlotte on Thursday, July 17. A. Michelle Fish, CEO and founder of Integra Staffing & Search, is the chairman of the accelerator group and board member of EO. She facilitated the event, which was sponsored by Blue and owner Alex Myrick. Alex also spoke about his experiences as an entrepreneur and how his membership in the EO organization has helped him. The event resulted in 5 new accelerator members and 2 new EO members.

The Accelerator program for EO is a series of quarterly, high-impact learning and networking events that give participants the tools, knowledge, and skills to grow their business to more than $1 million (US) in annual revenue. Participants must apply to the program and meet eligibility requirements including gross yearly revenues of at least $250,000. Once they have reached the $1 million in annual revenue market they are asked to join the Charlotte Chapter of EO which is comprised of 53 members who represent $339 Million worth of sales in the Charlotte region. The members of EO are from such diverse industries as Architecture/Design, Communication Services, Construction Services, Employment, Hospitality Services, Landscape/ Florists and Manufacturing and have a minimum of $1 Million in revenue.

“As an entrepreneur the whole EO experience has been very rewarding and has helped me grow my business.” Fish says. “The reason I am so involved with the Accelerator program is that I wish I had the type of guidance they are receiving when I was starting my business. I would have reached $1 million in revenue a lot sooner!”
